DNBNOR is a Norwegian foundation which gives financial contributions to a wide range of charitable causes. For its tenth-years anniversary on August 25th, on the occasion of the “Worlds Coolest Day” at Akershus Festning in Oslo, the foundation organized a free family day. The purpose of the day was to show the voluntary work of all the organizations that the foundation has supported over the years.
There were 28 different exciting activities to entertain the public among which a Nordic ski track with Neveplast Np50 for skating technique. Both kids and adults enjoyed performing a very common sport in Norway without snow and inside the city! Beginners could start to ski in total safety helped by the many instructors who assisted the event whereas skilled skiers enjoyed their favourite sport. About 30.000 people attended this successful event!
