At the Civetta Ski Area, in the heart of the Belluno Dolomites, from summer 2021 there is a new Neveplast Tubby slope, served by a very modern 4-seater chairlift. The tubing track is 160 meters long, with two parabolic curves and is distinguished by the spectacular natural environment in which it is located.
Behind the realization of the project there is Franco Zanolli, winter director of the Coldai Ski School and summer manager of Ally Farm park: a family play area surrounded by greenery with sensory paths in nature in which educational areas alternate with play and relaxation areas.
“I have known Neveplast and its products for a long time and I have always had the dream of creating a fun activity in the summer, similar to the one practiced in the winter on the snow. As soon as I had the right opportunity I’ve invested in Neveplast Tubby to expand the summer offer of the Ally farm park, which I have been managing at Piani di Pezze since 5 years.
I also owe a lot to Alleghe Funivie who guaranteed us the summer opening of the chairlift, which takes tourists back upstream in just a few minutes, ready for another breathtaking Tubby slope. I believe that an ascent with a chairlift like ours is one of the added values of our offer.
The track is very popular with the whole family: from children to parents and even grandparents. Some come on purpose from Canazei, Cortina and other neighboring towns just to experience the thrill of our tubing”
Cesare Locatelli Sales manager of Neveplast
“We are very happy to have carried out this project at Piani di Pezzè within the Civetta Ski area, one of the best known in the Dolomiti Superski area. The fact that the ski slope can count on a brand new 4-seater chairlift makes it unique among our installations. The track is 160 meters long and thanks to the perfect conformation of the terrain on which it rests we have been able to indulge ourselves in designing an initial springboard and two parabolic curves that ensure an adrenaline-filled descent but always in complete safety. Not to mention the landscape in which it is inserted, to say the least suggestive “.
The Neveplast Tubby slope is part of a unique landscape, one of the most evocative of all the Dolomites. To “watch over” the breathtaking descents aboard the rafts is his majesty Mount Civetta which with its 3220 m is one of the most prestigious peaks of the Dolomites declared a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.
Easily reachable all year round both by car and with the ski lifts from Alleghe, the Ally farm park at Piani di Pezzè which houses the Neveplast Tubby slope is a wonderful oasis of play and relaxation from which to move with the whole family to discover of one of the most beautiful areas of the Dolomites.
The piece that Ally was missing to make me to be indispensable was a tubing track, with breathtaking descents served by the Baby chairlift which during the winter is the intermediate school camp of the Civetta Ski Area.
In the Ally farm park with its 4000sqm, educational areas alternate with play and relaxation areas, with sensory and experiential paths for the whole family.
From the area dedicated to barefooting, walking barefoot that is good for both mind and body, to the suggestive lake near the Grande Baita Civetta, a maximum of 50 cm high where young and old can experience barefooting in the water and then continue on the sensory journey .
An experience aimed at finding a point of balance, both physical and psychological, thanks to the slacklines, the bouldering areas and the sensory path.
