The Italian firm Neveplast accomplished another great project: building the very first artificial ski slope in Spain. In this way, Neveplast is adding a new record to those that already made it the leader in its sector, such as the longest dry ski slope and the biggest Summer&Winter tubing plant in the world.
The installation is located in the town of Virgen de la Vega; it is 60 metres long and 15 metres wide and, specifically, it is a ski school made with Np30+, the latest product developed by Neveplast. Np30+ is the same revolutionary material used for the cutting-edge Copenhill installation, the biggest sport centre on the roof of a waste-to-energy plant, in the heart of Copenhagen.
The neo-ski slope in Virgen de la Vega, created in collaboration with the partner Imasc, is conveniently served by a conveyor belt produced by Sunkid.
The Spanish installation is located close to Valencia and some ski resorts, therefore it is easily reachable and potentially attractive.
In order to promote an influx of tourists, the Association Mesón de la Nieve opted for a Neveplast artificial ski slope to ensure entertainment throughout the year. The result will be an increase in the number of skiers in the nearby mountains during the winter season.
Apart from the ski slope, Neveplast has also installed a Tubby slide with a comfortable launching ramp that gives everyone moments of relaxation and fun.
