Cookie Policy
We use cookies to make our site easier to use and more intuitive. The data collected by cookies is used to make the browsing experience more enjoyable and more efficient in future.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files sent by a site to the Data Subject’s terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the site on the next visit by the same user. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user’s hard drive or transmit computer viruses or acquire e-mail addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user’s web browser. Some of a cookie’s functions can be delegated to other technologies. In this document, the term “cookie” refers to both actual cookies and to all similar technologies.
Type of cookies
Cookies can be first or third party, where “first part” means cookies that have the site as domain, while “third party” means cookies relating to external domains.
Third-party cookies are only installed by an external party, always defined as a “third party” and which is not managed by the site. Said parties may also install first-party cookies, saving their own cookies on the site’s domain.
Another type of cookie are the so-called “Flash Cookies” (Local Shared Objects), used in Adobe Flash Player to deliver certain content, such as video clips or animations, in order to remember settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on the device, but are managed using a different interface to the one provided by the browser used.
Nature of cookies
Regarding the nature of cookies, there are different types:
• Technical cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of performing the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of a service of the information company expressly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service (see article 122(1) of the Legislation).
They are not used for other purposes and are usually installed directly by the website Data Controller or Supervisor. They can be subdivided into:

o Browsing or session cookies, which guarantee the normal browsing and use of the website (for example, allowing purchases or authentication to access restricted areas); they are necessary for the site to function properly;
o Analytics cookies, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site, in order to improve the site’s performance;
o Functional cookies, which allow the user to browse according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service for that user. The users’ prior consent is not required for the installation of these cookies.
Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are aimed at creating user profiles and are used in order to send advertising messages geared to the preferences shown by the user when browsing the web.
The Data Subject’s consent is required for the use of profiling cookies. According to the provision (see more information in the paragraph on cookie management, below) the user can authorise or deny consent for the installation of these cookies via the options provided in the “Manage cookies” section.
In the case of third-party cookies, the site does not have direct control over individual cookies and cannot control them (it can neither install them directly nor delete them). You can nevertheless manage said cookies via your browser settings or the sites listed in the “Manage cookies” section.
Google Analytics Cookies

Google Adwords & Google Remarketing Cookies
The website uses the Google Adwords program and Google Remarketing technology.
Both are managed by Google Inc. The AdWords conversion tracking function uses cookies. To help track sales and other conversions, a cookie is added to the user’s computer when the user clicks on an ad. The cookie lasts 30 days and does not collect or monitor information that can personally identify a user. Users can disable Google conversion tracking cookies in their Internet browser settings. In some cases, cookies can cause problems during access or while browsing in the AdWords account. When this occurs, the best way to correct the problem is to clear the cache and delete saved cookies in the internet browser. Lastly, the user can disable Google Analytics cookies by downloading a specific browser plug-in available at the following url https://tools.google.com/dIpage/gaoptout.
Facebook Cookies
The site may use Facebook Inc. cookies to monitor the progress of Facebook Ad campaigns, where possible remarketing activities take place. For more information on the use of cookies by Facebook, click here: https://www.facebook.com/help/cookies/
Cookie management
In compliance with the instructions in legislation regarding the protection of personal data (Legislative Decree no. 196 dated 30 June 2003, hereinafter the “Legislation”) and, in particular, with articles 13(3) and 122(1) and in reference to the provision for the identification of simplified procedures for the disclosure and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies – 8 May 2014.
If consent has already been granted, but you want to change cookie permissions, you have to delete them using the browser, because otherwise the ones that are already installed will not be removed. In particular, please note that there is no way to control third-party cookies, therefore if consent has already been granted previously, you need to delete the cookies using the browser (see dedicated section).
How to disable/delete cookies using your browser configuration
• Chrome
1. Run the Chrome browser.
2. Click on the menu in the browser toolbar next to the url entry window for browsing.
3. Select settings.
4. Click on Show Advanced Settings.
5. In the “Privacy” section, click on the “Content settings” button.
6. In the “Cookies” section, you can change the following cookie settings:
a. Allow data to be saved locally;
b. Change the local data only until the browser is closed;
c. Prevent sites from setting cookies;
d. Block third-party cookies and site data;
e. Manage exceptions for certain internet sites;
f. Delete one or all cookies.
• Mozilla Firefox
1. Run the Mozilla Firefox Browser.
2. Click on the menu in the browser toolbar next to the url entry window for browsing.
3. Select Options.
4. Select the Privacy panel.
5. Click on Show Advanced Settings.
6. In the “Privacy” section, click on the “Content settings” button.
7. In the “Tracking” section, you can change the following cookie settings:
a. Request sites to not perform tracking;
b. Communicate your willingness to be tracked to sites;
c. No preference regarding the tracking of personal data is communicated.
8. From the “History” section, you can:
a. Select whether to accept third-party cookies and store them for a specified period by enabling “use custom settings”;
b. Remove individual stored cookies.
• Internet Explorer
1. Run the Internet Explorer Browser;
2. Click on the Tools button and select Internet Options;
3. Click on the Privacy tab and, in the Settings section, modify the slider according to the desired action for cookies:
a. Block all cookies;
b. Allow all cookies;
c. Select the sites from which cookies are obtained: move the cursor to an intermediate position so as not to block or allow all cookies, then click Sites, enter a website in the Address Website box and then click Block or Allow.
• Safari 11
1. Run the Safari Browser.
2. Click on Safari, select Preferences and click on Privacy.
3. In the Block Cookie section, specify how Safari shall accept cookies from websites.
4. To view which sites have stored cookies, click on Details.
• Safari iOS (mobile devices)
1. Run the Safari Browser.
2. Click on Safari, select Preferences and click on Privacy.
3. In the Block Cookie section, specify how Safari shall accept cookies from websites.
4. To view which sites have stored cookies, click on Details.
• Opera
1. Run the Opera Browser.
2. Click on Preferences then on Advanced and, lastly, on Cookies.
3. Select one of the following options:
a. Accept all cookies;
b. Accept cookies only from a site you visit: third-party cookies and any sent from a domain other than the one you are visiting will be rejected;
c. Never accept cookies: cookies will never be saved.
