It was a great opening weekend of the “Jara Park” in Fontaniva (close to Padova, Northern Italy)! Riders literally invaded the park, that certainly will become the new meeting point for freestyle lovers. They had the chance to show their breath- taking skills on two different 60m ski/snowboard slopes made with Neveplast surface that was equipped with many boxes and rails. The event planners put forth a great job organizing, which allow hundreds of people to watch amazing tricks performed throughout the competitions.
The Jara Park is a permanent snowsport center like no other in the area. The center size, terrain features and night lighting system sets it apart from others. The first operating days have been exciting and expectations for next summers sport season are huge. In the Jara Park, sport lovers can enjoy the Neveplast snowboard slopes and also a 600m2 skating area.
Neveplast has been promoting “urban skiing”, as we believe that urban permanent snowsports centers can help promote tourism and more and more people appreciate skiing and mountain sports in general.
